About.
Entrepreneur. Author. Designer. Advisor. Speaker.
Karen Post is a lifelong entrepreneur and creative business strategist whose career has been defined by one thing: building ideas into something valuable.
She launched her first company at 22 and went on to build and lead an award-winning marketing firm for 20 years, followed by a legal communications company specializing in high-stakes litigation. Later Karen became a published author and professional speaker, founded a design firm and created the American Prosperity Gift collection. Over more than four decades, Karen has helped companies, organizations, and entrepreneurs turn ideas into brands, businesses, experiences, and environments that connect with people and create value.
Superpowers.
Entrepreneur.
Building businesses is in Karen’s DNA. From marketing and communications to interiors, to product innovations and enterprises, she has spent her career identifying opportunities, assembling teams, developing concepts, and turning vision into reality.
Author.
Karen is the author of two published business books: Brain Tattoos: Creating Unique Brands That Stick in Your Customers’ Minds (AMACOM) and Brand Turnaround (McGraw-Hill) , and has contributed freelance work to Fast Company, Tampa Bay Times and Entrepreneur Magazine. Her writing extends beyond business to design, travel, culture, and the ideas and places that inspire her.

Designer.
In 2016, Karen founded Home Frosting, bringing her entrepreneurial and visual talent to residential interiors. Today, that expertise is expanding into commercial projects, where she combines brand strategy and design to create distinctive environments and customer experiences. Her philosophy is simple: a space can communicate a brand just as powerfully as a logo, website, or advertising campaign. In 2025, Karen earned the America 250™ and Freedom 250™ licenses to create and manufacture The American Prosperity Pillow collection of keepsakes. Beyond the commercial success, the company received orders from the White House, Pentagon gift shop and White House Historical Association. Karen also created Pop-up Style, a Tampa-based retail concept that includes her products and other home decor, gifts and more.
Advisor.
Brand building has been a constant throughout Karen’s career. She has advised Fortune 500 companies, emerging businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurial ventures across industries ranging from hospitality, healthcare, finance, technology, and real estate to consumer products. Her work spans strategy, positioning, naming, messaging, visual identity, customer experience, marketing, and brand transformation.
Speaker.
Karen has taken her ideas to audiences around the world. An international professional speaker since 2001, she has presented in 13 countries and was the first American businesswoman to speak for Saudi Arabian Airlines. Her presentations combine business insight, practical experience, storytelling, and the perspective of someone who has actually built and operated companies.
Karen’s work and ideas have been featured by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Financial Times, Fast Company, The New York Times, Bloomberg, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX Business, Fox & Friends and other media outlets.
Companies. Brands. Products. Spaces. Experiences. Ideas. Results.
Karen brings an entrepreneur’s drive, a strategist’s discipline, a designer’s eye, a writer’s curiosity, and a speaker’s ability to share with others.
